Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff play the roles made popular by Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt. This classic of family comedies tells the adventures of a family with 10 children.
“But we’re weird,” Zoey says in the first trailer for Cheaper by the Dozen, the remake of a classic family sitcom produced by Disney+. Indeed, the Bakers starring Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff are unusual, to say the least: a family with 10 children, five from each parent. A demographic glut with great potential for humor.
Along with the advance, the first poster and the release date of this reboot of the famous 2003 film starring Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt, which had a continuation with Ashton Kutcher, were released.
The film will premiere on Disney+ on March 18, with a cast that includes Erika Christensen, Timon Kyle Durrett, Journee Brown, Kylie Rogers, Andre Robinson, Caylee Blosenski, Aryan Simhadri, Leo Abelo Perry, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Christian Cote, Sebastian Cote, and Luke Prael.
The Bakers of Union and Braff are a blended family with 10 children trying to survive a hectic home life while keeping the family business in check, taking audiences on a rollercoaster ride of hilarious and heartwarming experiences. Gail Learner is directing from a script by herself in collaboration with Kenya Barris and Jenifer Rice-Genzuk Henry. The production will be Barris, Union, Shawn Levy, Brian Dobbins, and Donald J. Lee, Jr.
The 1950 film, starring Jeanne Craig and Clifton Webb, had its first remake more than fifty years later with Martin and Hunt, and their children included Hilary Duff and Tom Welling; Kutcher participated in the sequel.
