The popular show ‘The Big Bang Theory‘ airing on Netflix is embroiled in controversies. Writer and political analyst Mithun Vijaykumar has sent legal notices to Netflix, alleging that the first episode of the second season contains profanity-laced dialogue demeaning Bollywood veteran actress Madhuri Dixit. Mithun Vijaykumar stated in his notice that calling Madhuri Dixit a prostitute in a scene is objectionable.

“This episode is a violation of women’s dignity. Indian society does not condone such acts. Ethical analysis needs to be done before streaming content on public platforms. “Netflix should immediately remove that episode,” said Mithun Vijaykumar. He warned that he would approach the Supreme Court if Netflix did not respond to his notices.
